Beam Rotation is used to help correlate photos taken at gymnastics meets. Beam rotation describes when an entire rotation or flight reached the beam apparatus.

If you started on beam, you reached beam in Rotation 1.

If you started on bars, you reached beam in Rotation 2.

If you started on vault, you reached beam in Rotation 3.

If you started on floor, you reached beam in Rotation 4.

For larger meets, there are multiple flights, generally "A" and "B". These are also tracked, so if you started on bars and were in flight B, you were in Beam Rotation 2B.

Under each Beam Rotation are the apparatus photographed. These apparatus galleries represent the entire group in that rotation/flight. Therefore, if you were in Beam Rotation 3A, under Beam Rotation 3A might be Bars, Beam, and Floor galleries, in which you would find yourself in the competition order listed (Gymnast 01, Gymnast 02, etc.).
