Group is used to help correlate photos taken at gymnastics meets. This number describes which was the starting apparatus for that group.
If you started on vault, you are in Group 1.
If you started on bars, you are in Group 2.
If you started on beam, you are in Group 3.
If you started on floor, you are in Group 4.
For larger meets, there are multiple flights, generally "A" and "B". These are also tracked, so if you started on bars and were in flight B, you were in Group 2B.
Under each Group are the apparatus photographed. These apparatus galleries represent the entire group in that rotation/flight. Therefore, if you started on Beam and were in A flight, under Group 3A might be Bars, Beam, and Floor galleries, in which you would find yourself by name. At times, where we are unable to get the gymnast's name, you may find it listed in competition order as "Gymnast 01", "Gymnast 02", etc.
