Rotation or Group is used to help correlate photos taken at gymnastics meets. This number describes which was the starting apparatus for that group.

If you started on vault, you are in Rotation/Group 1.

If you started on bars, you are in Rotation/Group 2.

If you started on beam, you are in Rotation/Group 3.

If you started on floor, you are in Rotation/Group 4.

For larger meets, there are multiple flights, generally "A" and "B". These are also tracked, so if you started on bars and were in flight B, you were in Rotation/Group 2B.

Under each Rotation/Group are the apparatus photographed. These apparatus galleries represent the entire group in that rotation/flight. Therefore, if you were in Rotation 3A, under Rotation/Group 3A might be Bars, Beam, and Floor galleries, in which you would find yourself in the competition order listed (Gymnast 01, Gymnast 02, etc.).
